Goal $5,000.00

Wow! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Hard to believe on Saturday I will paddle for the sixth year around New York City on a Stand Up Paddle Board. I train hard every year and can't wait to get off the board at the finish line.

My goal is to raise $5,000 and complete the race in less than 6 hours. 100% of your donation is split between various Autism Charities. Last year I was the fourth highest fund raiser. To donate, please go to  Your donation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as tax-exempt since this is a public charity under Section 501(C)(3) of the IRS code. For SAP to match your donation, please go to; search for “Surfers Environmental Alliance” to find the right charity.

The course will circumvent the island in a counterclockwise direction starting in the East River at Brooklyn Bridge Beach and finish in the Hudson River at Chelsea Piers (Pier 59). To learn more about the event, please go to  If you would like to get a glimpse of what I will experience during my paddle, check out this video:

If you are local to the Jersey Shore, keep an eye out for me training in Shark River, Manasquan River, and the Atlantic Ocean off of Belmar Beach. (Send me a note if you would like to come out and paddle with me.)

Any amount donated is appreciated. More information is below.

Many thanks,

What is Stand Up Paddle Boarding?

Stand up paddle surfing (SUP), stand up paddle boarding, or in the Hawaiian language Hoe he'e nalu, is an emerging global sport with a Hawaiian heritage. The sport is an ancient form of surfing, and reemerged as a way for surfing instructors to manage their large groups of students, as standing on the board gave them a higher viewpoint.
